With the recent result of the COMELEC’s decision on giving “ANG LADLAD” its accreditation as a party list, it has spark different ideas and attacks on LGBT’s social worthiness and values. And it has irked the LGBT’s community, our community members per se, with COMELEC’s way of giving definition to “ANG LADLAD” as a party list.
It’s apparent how chauvinism has corrupted the mind of its chairman. Who’s seemingly having less and crooked philosophy and thwarted views when it comes to LGBT’s.
“On November 11, the Comelec said although the party presented proper documents and evidence for their accreditation, its petition was “dismissable on moral grounds. And that giving accreditation to “ANG LADLAD” as a party list would pose risks for Filipino youths?!”
Moral grounds?! Duhhh……………..!!!
Morality was cited by COMELEC as one of its basis in turning down the petition of “ANG LADLAD” as party list then, why the hell those who are having extra marital issues, and unexplained wealth and corrupt government practices were given COC (Certificate of Candidacy) and were even allowed to run in the elections and eventually, proclaimed government officials? Does these issues aren’t under “MORALITY?” How well does the COMELEC chairman know the clause, the context and the broad definition of the word moral?
Is he moral enough to be in his position as COMELEC chairman, morality check, puh-lease?! And how extensive thus the COMELEC have its authority as a government body? Extensive barely for a few whom he cares less and constricted for those whom he kneels before and licks their feet?
Would post risks to Filipino youths?! Haller………….!! You are making me laugh, definitely, lol! I can hardly comprehend your thoughts?! What are you chitchatting about? Are you blind, cross eyed mammoth? As if LGBT’s are the only factors out there that can post risks to our youths?! Haven’t you realized how high the risks of having your “kind” in the government would post, would empathize and would serve as an ill representation of how government officials are to our youths?
Hypocrite, you are!!
What a shame, what a disgrace in the morality of the public service!!
Unbecoming of a chairman!
Or better to ask why it seems that the COMELEC chairman himself alone is very much anxious in having the LGBT community its official party list? And not to point on the morality issue and the youth as your primary concern in disapproving “ANG LADLAD’s” accreditation?
Besides, who is morally qualified among us if the grounds you have cited is acceptably valid as per your office by laws are concern?
If the COMELEC chairman has a “personal issues” with one of the LGBT community members, settle it out with whoever that was but not to take the whole LGBT community as collectively immoral!
Mon Tulfo in his Nov. 19, 2009 PDI column writes:
“The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is right about rejecting the application of a group composed of lesbians and gays to become a party-list group. Had the poll body approved the application of Ang Ladlad, baka tinamaan ng kidlat (lightning would have struck) its commissioners. Kidding aside, gender should never be an issue in politics. If there are many gays and lesbians in our midst, fine! We should respect their rights. But they should not also go around town proclaiming their preferences as if it was a badge of honor. There is nothing honorable or normal about same-sex marriage or union, which Ang Ladlad is trying to promote. Gays and lesbians should be happy society tolerates them. They should not abuse society’s doting attitude towards them.”

On Fafa Manny Pacquiao, after all the preparations on both physical and mental wellness prior to his bout with Manuel Cotto and the fight itself, who would not want to relax, unwind and feel what his new accomplishment would bring him or what has his new accomplishment has to offer, da vha? After all, he needed that much break from all of his busyness in his karir chuvaness. For how many months siyang na-dyeta sa kahit anetch, bongkang wa, nomu wiz at pati showbiz eh na-dyeta sa kanya. Ilang buwan siyang nasa training camp ng pamosong Fafa Freddie Rouch para ikundisyon ang kanyang katawang lufa sa laban nila ni Cotto na nagbunga ng sandamakmak na pesosesoses worth millions. Na kahit na nga yata mag-retire ang Fafa Manny eh witchikels pa rin sa pagka-ubos. At kahit balatuan pa niya akembang para ipang-nyoyad sa akiz na mga credit cards eh, wiriret siya sa pagka-aray dahil variables (barya) lang naman ang value ng akiz na mga credit cards sa damu ng kanyang mga andalusya! Magparamdam daw vha?! Buti kung panisinin ka ng Fafa Manny?!! Lol!
Pero, the question is or would be, what ways Fafa Manny Pacquiao would enjoy the said much needed relaxation?
“Ako, legal wife!”
I’m sureness dun sa mga “ako, legal wife!” like Jinky eh, the exact relaxation definitely mean spending time with his or their families and to his “ako, legal wife!” No doubt about that.
Sometimes, men tend to look for other ways of “relaxations” rather than spending quality time with their families. Who, unconsciously were being neglected due to the very reason ng pagiging makasarili? I hate to think na ganun nga noh!? Na parang nau-umay na sa pagmumukha ng mga kasambahay kaya naghahanap ng ibang bagong mukha para makasama sa pag-lilibang na sarili lang kaligayahan ang nasa brainwaves nila?! Wit naman sana.
At hindi ko rin ma-getch kung bakit kailangan pa ng 3rd party para lang masabing nag-enjoy? Or para masabing straight men sila?!!
Honestly, evasince the world of being consciousness has appeared sa akiz na kamalayan, wiriret ketch ma-unawaan iyong madalas ikuda ng mga nag-ootoko-otokohan na, “men are born to be polygamous”, na dapat eh unawain at bigyan ng credit for that? Na lalake sila?!!

Eh kasi naman, usapan namin na ise-selebreyt namin ang Pasko together, aba’y biglang changed ng plans at gumorah sa mga friendships niya at ewan kung saan lufalop ng Sharjah sila nag-Pasko?! Ay naku, talagang may I cry me a river that time. Pwero, infierness, bumawi naman siya nung New Year, kasi talagang sinamahan niya akiz na i-welcome ang taong 2005 together, haaaayyyy, kaka-kilig moment! So, kumembot kami dun April of 2006, Friday morning at April 2006, Friday afternoon, ramfa na kami sa kabilang camp para maka-aura ng mga boylets. Ganun kami ka-kati-katera ng sisteraka kong narsisa na nasa Canada na now. As in mega salpak lang lahat ng gamit sa bagong love nest at ramfa na, kesehodang nuknukan ng init, summer kaya ang April ditey, excited eh. Syem more-more sa mga bagong feces, este, faces pala (ano ba naman?!!) eh kung mag-ala lacoste ang sisteraka? Mahirap na noh.
Chicka-chika, beso-beso sa mga otokong bagong knowings. Kembot ditey, kembot doon. Konting pakyut at smile-smile na kala mo eh, nasa gay byuti contest, churva ditey, aura sa next room, kati-katera talaga!
While bisi-bisihan ang beki of all seasonings, may biglang sumulpot na isang anito! Nyeta, kakagulat, akala ko naglabasan ang mga lahing sakang (tsina) sa ingay namin at balak kaming ninjahin! Eh kasi naman, nakabalot ng husto ang fez ng dumating ang otoko na animoy ninja turtles ang drama at mata lang ang kita. Dedmahin ko na sana, but wait…!!!
Syet, ang ganda ng mata, expressive!!! Ang haba ng pilik-mata niya..!! Promise, mata pa lang niya, kumembot na ang puson, este, puso ko pala, promise!
Yun, introducing kagad ang entra ng beki. Pag-alis ng cover ng fez ng otoko……shet na malagkit…!! Perfect smile ang loloh putol moh! Sapul! Instant crush! Di ko talaga siya tinantanan at may I inviting kagad akembang para mag-nomu kami sa akiz na new love nest. And after 2 hours, nomuhan na kami. Ang saya-saya….!!
Eh ang lolo putol mo newly arrive pala galing shigoto (work) at wa pa sa pagka-lafang kaya ayun, sinikmura at naghinala pang kinulam ko raw, haller!!
Anyway, so ang stay ng lolo putol eh na-cut short kasi nga sumama ang emote. Okay lang, dami pa namang chances. Chances are, ma-ulit pa kaya?
Eh, ang beki of all seasonings talagang insistent na makilala ang lolo putol so, may I gorah akembang sa camp nila kesehodang akiz lang mag-isa. May I mega friendliness akiz sa mga room mates niya at sa mga tropa niya. Kalaunan, ok na rin kami at medyo nababawasan na ang pagka-asiwang emote ng lolo putol. Hanggang sa naging kinda close na rin kami, it was a platonic relationship. Na wiz ko akalaing kakarerin ko ang isang relasyong walang SEX!! Tumagal ng halos 2 years or almost 2 years na ganun lang ng ganun na mas madalas pa yatang di kami magkasundo kesa sa magkasundo kami? Pero, ano mang tampuhan namin, nagkaka-ayos pa rin naman kaming dalawa ni putol. I guess, alam niya tantrums ketch and love ko kasi ang mokong na yun kaya konting lambing lang, ok na naman kami. Haiiiissssttt………!!!
Two Christmas ang dumaan bago kami nagkahiwalay. Pero iyong last of the two Christmases ko lang siya nakasama mag-selebreyt as putol was about to embark into a new career level (may ganun?!) in one of the members of the European countries. Iyon na ang huling Christmas na magkasama kami, sabi niya at nagpasalamat. For putol, it’s his choice. For me, it’s by chance.
The following Christmas after that, di ko na siya kasama pero nagawa niya pa ring makipag-chat sa akiz exactly December 25, 2008, ang saya-saya kiz, another kilig moment. Eh kasi naman, finally, pinakilala niya ako sa family niya thru chat and although as a friend lang, ok lang yun noh, saya ko nun kaya, walang kasing saya!!
Masaya naman akong naghiwalay kaming nagka-ayos at paminsan-minsang nagkaka-chat. Hanggang sa dumalang at tuluyang mawala. Ayaw na niyang magpa-istorbo pa, I guess. Tinangap at iginalang ko na lang.
Since then, parang wit ko na sa pagka-feelanga ang makipag-relasyon, nakakapagod, nakakasawa, at nakakapanghinayang ang mga pagmamahal at mga panahong ibinuhos at inilaan mo para sa isang tao only to end up solo.
But then and although, knows ketch na ganun talaga ang kadalasang ending, eh beki ka noh, still willing and able pa rin akiz na magmahal.
Lecheng pag-ibig? Naahh………..we love time and time again at kahit over and over again tayey nasasaktan dapat knowbles natin na kapag nagmahal tayo, keri nating masaktan. O da vha?!
Kaya ngayon, keri ketch muna ang mag-isa at walang kayakap sa malamig na gabi. Keri kiz munang bumorlog ng bonggang bongga at walang gumigising sa madaling araw sa pag dunggol-dunggol ng nota ng akiz na katabing bowa. Keri kiz munang solo ang kumot ketch at keri kiz na ang panis na laway ko lang ang ma-smell tienes ketch sa umaga. Keri ko!
At para kina “casper”, “goryo” at “putol”……salamat sa mga malalamig na gabing kapiling ko kayo!
At ako? Well, ganito na lang muna. Wala muna for now.

I really can’t get over this post from Baklang Maton in the Suburb @ http://baklangmaton.blogspot.com, feeling kiz akembang ang nawalan ng isang dear friend. Ang hirap, parang wit akembang maka-kilos, nawawala akiz sa wisyo at hanggang ngayon, naluluha akiz every time na babasahin ko ang post na itey.

A few weeks ago, I posted a shoutout on my Facebook account asking for blood donations for a friend who has cancer. Kailangan nya ng blood platelets, RBC at WBC kasi bumababa ang supply nya ng dugo. She needed 5 sessions ng chemotherapy, isang session pa lang bumaba na agad blood count nya. To sustain her life, maraming kaibigan ang pumila sa PGH at nag-donate ng dugo. I was able to get two blood cards from redcross. Pero siguro ang mas naibigay ko sa kanya, napatawa ko sha ng bonggang bongga nung dinalaw ko sha sa hospital, at sa tuwing magkakasama kaming tropa.
Last night, I attended her funeral.
Ayla Fabregas-Ferdiz, June 29, 1983-October 29, 2009. 26 years old. A wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend. Karaniwan sa mga eulogies sa ganito magsisimula. Bakit kaming magkakatropa pag nagkukwentuhan, walang flow, walang structure, walang intro at ending. We simply remember. We remember Ayla.
Nung 2nd year college, iba-iba pa kami ng tropa. I was with Noel, Bebang and Ilet. Ayla was with Arnold. Wala shang tropa kundi ang boyfriend nya. Eventually sumama na rin sha sa grupo nina Chris, Ann, Divine at Dhei. Nadagdagan pa nina Leeann at Jane. Sumama na rin ang mga nomads na sina TJ at Jhong. Hanggang sa wala ng distinction kung sino ba ang barkada nino. Kung sino ba ang tropa nino. Basta magkakatropa kami. Hindi kami barkada.

Pero hindi kami close. We didn’t have a particular friendship, na kaming dalawa eh magkikita at mamamasyal. Feeling ko nga nung una ayaw nya sa kin kasi super opposite kami ni Ayla. Kung gano ko kagaslaw, ganun naman sha ka-prim and proper. I remember our PE class kasi sha yung dance partner ko. Hinahagis-hagis ko pa sha habang sumasayaw. And then, Anikka came into our lives.
Ayla got pregnant. Aba, diyata’t me similarity din pala kami ng lola mo. Nope, di ako teenage mom. Pero given an ovary, malamang dati pa kong inahin. When we found out na jontis na si Ayla, andami ng nagbago. She gave birth nung birthday ni bowa — si Arnold. Shempre sa binyag lahat kami ninang. Ay, yung isang borboli pala, si Madam, ninong. I guess yun ang naging start ng pagiging magkaibigan talaga namin ni Ayla, and shempre ng bowa-turned-husband na si Arnold.
She had to skip a year para alagaan si Anikka. Nauna kami makatapos ng college pero yung bonding ng tropa tuloy pa rin. Everytime we gather, usually sa bahay nina Ann sa Alfonso, Cavite, bitbit na ata nina Ayla at Arnold ang bahay nila. Before Dhei went to Dubai, nag-swimming pa kaming tropa (except one makating sister na nasa Boracay). Di ko kinaya, kasi me dala silang lutuan, kawali, syanse and everything! Swimming pa lang yun ha. Sobrang saya ng swimming na yun. Sobrang lungkot din ng kasunod.
We found out about her illness. Yung pananakit ng tuhod, cancer na pala. Syet na cancer yan. She underwent treatment, chemotherapy, and endless consultations. Her right leg was amputated to stop the cancer cells from spreading. She lost weight, she lost her hair, but she never lost her faith. All the while that she was enduring the sickness, her strength came from God.
Ironic. Sa tropa namin, sa kanya kami kumukuha ng lakas. Arnold was with her every painful step of the way. Kaming mga walang sakit, kami ang mas mahina. Ayla was her usual self — masayahin, bungisngis, kind-hearted, prayerful, strong. “Laban lang,” she usually said and she did. Lumaban talaga sha and she won. Or we thought she won.
For almost a year, she was doing good. After the treatment, they declared her cancer-free and we couldn’t be happier for her. She went back to work, nakasama na uli namin sha sa Alfonso, ganun pa rin siya, parang walang pinagdaanan na mabigat na sakit.
Last March, nag-swimming kami uli and that night was the most unforgetable night for us. Sa gitna ng matador at potato chips, napag-usapan namin ang sakit ni Ayla. Siguro it was too much for Arnold, kasi that was the first time that he broke down in tears. Yung lahat ng sakit na naramdaman nya for his wife, yung lahat ng takot nya sa pwedeng mangyari, yung lahat ng pagmamahal na nasa puso nya for Ayla, sinabi nya that night.
We all cried. Ngumalngal talaga ko ng todo todo. I hugged Ayla, saying sorry for not being strong enough. Tuwing magdadrama kami, Ayla just says “Tama na yan, ano ka ba, ok lang ako. Wag ka ng umiyak, naiiyak rin tuloy ako.” And she would give me her trademark smile.
August 2009, she was scheduled for her prostethics. Nasa PGH sha having her therapy para sa artificial leg na ikakabit, and they learned the shocking and painful truth. The cancer cells were back, and this time kalat na sa katawan nya. Nag-stay sha sa hospital for another set of chemotherapy.
Dinalaw ko sha sa PGH nung October 11. Di pa nga oras ng dalaw yun eh, nagpalusot lang ako sa guard kaya ako nakapasok. As usual, Ayla made it look like she was doing okay. Di namin alam, even yung paglapat ng kumot sa katawan nya masakit. She was in pain. Pero nung niyakap ko sha before ako umuwi, I can never forget what she said.
“I love you friend.”
Umiiyak na sha nun, pero I told her not to cry kasi mahihirapan lang sha. Dinaan ko sa biro at patawa. After I left her room, dun bumuhos ng husto ang luha ko sa chapel. For someone so sweet, kind and caring, bakit si Ayla pa? Cliche, pero andaming masamang tao sa mundo, bakit hindi sila? Bakit hindi ako? I don’t understand why, and perhaps I never will.
After more than a week, she went home. And last Thursday, binawi na sa min si Ayla. The day she died, di raw sha mapakali. She said “Bakit ganun, wala akong makita. Tanggalin nyo na tong unan sa likod ko.” She closed her eyes, and she breathed her last.
The night I saw her in her wedding dress, she was as beautiful as she was nung college. There was a hint of her trademark smile on her face. And she’s at peace. She’s gone now, but still she is our pillar of strength. She prepared us well.
Sa susunod na lakad ng tropa, sana kumpleto kami uli. Sa swimming, sa Alfonso, sa inuman, sa mga get-together, sa SM Bacoor, sa Molino, sa bahay nila Jhong at Ann, sa Hardin ng Postema, sa Cavite. I’m sure kasama namin si Ayla, natatawa sa mga kalokohan, umiiling sa mga kagaguhan, umaawat sa mga todong inuman (lalo na kay Ann), gumagabay san man ang venue ng susunod na lakad ng tropa.
Nauna man si Ayla, she will be with us until we, too, breathe our last. I’ll see you soon!
Promise, shumigil talaga panandali ang movement ng mga utaw, shumigil ang walang habas na barilan sa kung saan-saang panig ng Pinas. May I pose for a while ang kabi-kabilang mga kidnapan, huh?! At wag mag-deny, postpone din pati ang booking ng mga beki at pati ang bongkangan ng mga jok-jok volanteus around the Philippines ay shigil din. Pati ang chismakan at bulyawan ng mga butangera sa kanto-kanto ay talaga naman mega sa pagtigil. Ganyan ang levelling ng atensiyones na gini-givesung ever-tienes ng ating mga kaveveyan para kay Fafa Manny noh!! Di na matawaran ang kasikatan at very vongasyus na karir ng Fafa Manny, infierness…..!!
Sinetch betsayda niyo? Ako, syem, si Fafa Manny Pacquiao noh!! Infierness, kahawig niya sa picture na ito ang ex-BF ko, yun na!!
Halos yata sa buong universe eh wa sa pagka-move while watching galore para lang masaksihan ang pakikipag-jumbagan ng ating Fafa-delisyus (delisyus daw oh?! Ayaw ni Miss Jinky ng ganyan!!) na si Fafa Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao!!
O da vha, yummy……Fafa Manny in his boxer shorts……!!!
Duhhhhhh?!! Ang mga may kifay lang ba ang may karapatang shumawag ng “Fafa” sa kanya, aber?! Ava, vha, vrabia have din kaming may “imaginary keps” na shumawag ng “Fafa” sa kanya noh…!! Suraa…..!! Sige ang kumuda, isang istreyt na krompal ang give-sung ketch?!
Well, sinetch ang mas delisyusli looking beefy hunk (hunk daw oh?!)?
Truthfulness lang, soooo ten-ten munoz ang beki of all seasoning noh. Halos di ako maka-alis sa table ko habang may I watching galore akembang sa office kiz que sehodang have pa ng trabaho akiz! Ay naku, mahuli na kung mahuli, mapa-uwi na ng Pinas kung mapa-uwi, wag lang wiriret kiz mapanood ang Fafa Manny sa kanyang boxing match with his not so delisyusli opponent from Puerto Rico na si Mannuel Cotto. Feeling kiz, akembang ang nakikipag-jombagan! Wag ka lang kumurap, day, iba na ang makikita mo sa screen, as in ganun kabilis!! Kaya naman talagang mega tutok to the max akiz, promise!
At ang mga bekimbels, nakipagsiksikan talaga ma-sight tienelin lang kung paano jombagin ng pambansang Fafa (Oh, ha, may bago na siyang title !!) at pambansang kamao ang not so Fafable Puertorican na si Mannuel Cotto. Ang resulta ng jombagan, ayun, kinotongan siya ni Fafa Manny sa mukha, ha-ha-ha!!!

Pero saan ka with a purpose at invested interest ang pakikipagsiksikan ng mga bekimbels noh, kung di ko pa alam. Kunwari nakikipanood, pero saan ka, talagang nakikipagkiskisan sila. Makatabi lang ang fafang ninanais, ha-ha-ha!!!
Kaya di lang si Fafa Manny ang nagwagi today, wagi din ang mga bekimbels sa kanilang katabi, que sehodang sila ang gawing punching bag ng otoko, wiz sila sa pagka-complain kasi nga betsayda nila ang mga katabi nila, mga masokistang beki!! Ha-ha-ha-!!!

Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset? (Baket nga vha?!)
You might say we shout because we have lost our calm. But why shout when the other person is just next to you? Isn’t it possible to speak to him or her in a soft voice? Why do we shout at a person when we’re angry?
Here’s the answer:
‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts are far from one another. To cover that distance they must shout in order to be heard. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to be heard through that great distance.’
So how about when people are in love, how do people in love speak to each other? They don’t shout at each other but they talk softly. Why? It’s because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very short.
And when two people in love cherish each other deeply, what happens? They do not just speak, they only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Eventually, they do not even need to whisper, they only look at each other and they already know what the other wants to say.
When you argue, do not let your hearts grow distant, do not say words that will only increase your distance from each other. Otherwise, there will come a day when the distance is so great that you cannot find the path to return to each other’s arms anymore. Bridge that distance with words like “I’m sorry” and forgive one another. And do it now. Better sooner than later, before your heart hardens.

Ang sarap ng feeling nung ganun eh. Mababaw lang naman akembang noh, tuwa na akiz malaman na may mga readers na ang blog site ketch. At may mga nabibigyan tayo ng aliw sa akiz na munting paraan. O, da vha naman?!
